Photo Story: Bucky Said ‘I Can Fix That’

So this morning, Lainie Brooks broke the cord to our studio blinds. Sounding like he was a some seasoned pro handy man, Bucky Doren said, "I fix that.  I've seen it on TV."

This time of year, the angle of the sun in the morning cuts through our studio window stronger that a 50 mile-per-hour Polar Vortex. It makes it difficult for Bucky to enjoy - as he describes it - "the palatial view of the brick building across the street."

It makes it difficult for Lainie to see her computer monitor.

Bucky sprang into action

I can fix that.  I've seen it on TV."

He ran off to the supply closest and returned with ...

While mumbling something about the colors "Red" and "Green," he went to work.  Then he proclaimed that even the gang at the Possum Lodge would be proud of his handy work.

Bucky looked at Lainie ...

As Red Green always says, 'If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.'"

Lainie just rolled her eyes.
