The Waterloo Bucks have announced that Park Road, the only direct access to Riverfront Stadium, has been closed due to the Cedar River flooding.  Despite the road closure, Bucks games scheduled for the week of July 1, 2014 are still scheduled to be played at Riverfront Stadium.Fans that are planning on attending this week’s games while Park Road is closed are encouraged to park on or around Conger Street.

On Wednesday, the Bucks face the Eau Claire Express with first pitch slated for 6:35 pm and gates opening at 5:30 pm.  Thursday’s game will begin at 6:35 pm with gates opening at 5:30 pm as Waterloo takes on Eau Claire.  Friday features a doubleheader versus the Rochester Honkers which will start at 6:05 pm and feature two seven-inning games.

Flooding from the Cedar River is expected to crest at 1:00 pm this afternoon at 16.9 feet.  At the time of this press release, flood water was into the Riverfront Stadium parking lot.  The field and stadium are currently not in danger.
