On Tuesday, May 6th a one vehicle accident in Black Hawk County sent a 17 year old to the hospital.

On Tuesday, May 6th Black Hawk County Sheriff Deputies, alongside the Dunkerton Fire and Police Departments responded to a one vehicle accident on North Canfield Rd, just north of East Big Rock Road.

According to the report, 17 year old Dylan Tix of Dunkerton, wasn't paying attention to driving and crossed the center line and into the ditch on the other side of the road, where his vehicle flipped over.  Tix was trapped in his vehicle and had to be removed by the responding departments.  Tix complained of neck and back pain and was transported to an area hospital.

Tix was ticked with Failure To Have Control of his vehicle.

 

 

 

 

On May 6, 2014 at approximately 1227 hrs. Black Hawk County Sheriff's Deputies along with the Dunkerton Fire and Police Departments responded to a report of a vehicle roll over accident on N. Canfield RD. approximately 1/10 mile north of E. Big Rock RD.

 

A vehicle operated by Dylan Tix, age 17 of Dunkerton, Iowa was southbound on N. Canfield RD. Mr. Tix was not paying attention to his driving and went acoss the centerline, northbound lanes and into the east ditch where the vehicle flipped over. Mr. Tix was trapped in the vehicle. He complained of pain in his neck and was transported to Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

 

Mr. Tix was charged with Failure To Have Control of his vehicle.
