One Airlifted to Iowa City, after Waterloo Cycle Accident

Waterloo police are investigating an accident involving a motorcycle that sent one person to the hospital.

It happened at about 9pm Tuesday, in the 3500 block of University Avenue.

The motorcyclist was initially taken to a Waterloo hospital, but had to be airlifted to University Hospitals in Iowa City; according to authorities, the injuries were not life-threatening.

The person's name as well as other details on the accident, have not yet been released.
