Oelwein Viaduct Closed Due to Water Main Break
The Oelwein Utility department is working on a water main break on West Charles Street.
As a result, the viaduct is closed to traffic; motorists will have to use an alternate route.
According to city workers, they hope to have the break fixed, and the viaduct open, before noon today (Friday, July 22).
