North Fayette Valley Takes UIC Conference Wrestling Tounament

North Fayette Valley saw eight Tigerhawks earn championships at the team would go on to win the Upper Iowa Conference Wrestling Tournament on January 31, 2015.

North Fayette Valley came into the weekend ranked as the number 10 team in the state (ThePredicament.com). Despite South Winneshiek applying pressure all day scoring 17 pins, The Tigerhawks earned 15 pins and battled their way to the conference championship.

The eight individual championships helped power North Fayette Valley to the win. Johnny Wander (120#), Jordan Larson (132#), Austin DeMuth (138#), Zach Bruns (160#), Kevin Guyer (170#), Nick Baumler (182#), Tyler Johansen (220#), and Ethan Lape (285#) each won their respective weight classes.
