The Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley has got some fun new ways for people in the Cedar Valley to pitch in and help in our community! Here is the latest list.

  • Assist kindergarten through 2nd grade students as they discover more about the world around them with Legos at the Imaginarium on January 7th at 9:15 AM.
  • The Cedar Bend Humane Society is currently accepting applications for Board Members. This is a volunteer position requiring approximately five hours of time dedicated to CBHS each month. Candidates with previous board and fundraising experience preferred.
  • Catholic Charities seeks volunteers age 21 and older to provide mentorship to individuals overcoming the social and psychological challenges of incarceration or positive reentry into family and community life. Volunteers must complete and application and attend a 2 hour training session.
  • Mallard Point Retirement would love to have more background stories about our residents and create an article on each person. Interviews take place monthly. Volunteers 16 and over are welcome.
