The latest trailer for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” makes its debut tonight (Oct. 9, 2017) during Monday Night Football. Tickets go on-sale following the video.

Several Cedar Valley football fans will be locked in for tonight's Monday Night Football match-up. After all, it features two of the area's favorite teams: Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears. There will also be a bunch of Star Wars nerds, just like me, tuning in for a special preview. Kick-off is set for around 7:30 PM on ESPN.

This should be no surprise to anyone that a Star Wars movie trailer would make its debut on ESPN's MNF. Both Lucasfilm and ESPN are owned by Disney. This helped create a huge ratings spike a few years back when they did the exact same thing for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'.

Look for the new trailer to air during ESPN's halftime coverage. Tickets for the movie, which opens December 15, will go on-sale everywhere following its debut.

I know what I'm doing tonight.
