After a snowy Saturday, temperatures will continue to dip throughout Sunday, with harsh winds and blowing snow leading to extremely frigid conditions across Iowa.

The wind-snow combination will lead to temperatures within five degrees of record lows for Sunday, according to CBS 2. Wind chills by Sunday morning will be near -25 to -40.

Temperatures will likely remain below zero and could also come close to record-cold highs.

Conditions will improve after Sunday, with temps in the upper teens predicted for Monday and highs near the 30-degree mark the rest of the week with minimal chances for precipitation. Get the full forecast HERE.
