About Lori’s Dream Team

Lori’s Dream Team was established in memory of Lori Clark. Lori died on February 12, 2016 after a brave battle with cancer. During Lori’s cancer treatments, she was grateful for support from family and friends, but was saddened when she witnessed many other patients who didn’t have support. She also witnessed some that didn’t have the means to cover their basic expenses like groceries or gas because the financial burden for their life-saving treatments drained their bank accounts. She saw many had lost hope and she had a genuine desire to help. Even while facing the toughest fight of her life, Lori wanted to do more for others.

After Lori passed away, Lori’s husband Corey set out to honor her memory and founded Lori’s Dream Team, an organization dedicated to the following mission:

To fulfill Lori’s dream that every cancer patient in the Cedar Valley never feels alone during the biggest fight of their life by raising funds for programs that promote financial help, personal support and hope when they need it the most.

Lori’s Dream Team has established a Donor Advised fund through the Lincoln Savings Bank (LSB) Foundation for the purposes of accepting financial gifts to fulfill Lori’s dream. The LSB Foundation is exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501 (C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
