Another pattern of harsh winter weather will hit the area within the next few days.

CBS 2 is predicting the first storm to arrive late Saturday, with snow totals estimating between one to five inches across eastern Iowa, with the best chance for snow near and north of Highway 30.

The second system will likely be the stronger of the two, with potential to produce heavy snow in central and southern parts of the Cedar Valley. Approximate snow totals are still yet to be determined, since the front is still a few days away.
