Maren Morris made her Saturday Night Live debut on Saturday night (Dec. 10), performing both "My Church" and "80s Mercedes" during the late-night sketch comedy show.

Morris first took the SNL stage in a glittering dress and with her acoustic guitar to sing "My Church." She started the song on a darkened stage and standing under a single, blue-hued spotlight, and her band came in at the song's first lyrics. Readers can press play on the video above to watch that performance.

For "80s Mercedes," Morris donned gold and glittering wide-legged pants and a gold top. Readers can watch that performance, which came later in the Saturday Night Live broadcast, below. For both performances, Morris was introduced by the night's host, John Cena.

Morris was the first country star to perform as part of Saturday Night Live‘s current season, but she’s just the latest in a long line of the genre’s acts to grace the SNL stage during the show’s four-decade run. Both Margo Price and Chris Stapleton have performed on the show in 2016 alone, while Blake Shelton acted as the sketch comedy show’s host and musical guest in January of 2015. Garth Brooks, Willie NelsonKris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift are also among those who have hosted and performed on Saturday Night Live.

Morris’ SNL appearance rounds out a stellar 2016 for the up-and-comer: She released her debut album, Hero, in June, to much critical and fan acclaim, earned seven CMA Awards nominations and won New Artist of the Year, and recently received four 2017 Grammy Awards nods. Morris spent much of 2016 on the road with Keith Urban, as an opening act on his Ripcord World Tour, and will launch her own headlining Hero Tour in February. It was recently announced that she will be performing as part of the 2017 Country Radio Seminar’s New Faces of Country Music show as well.
