Looking for an Escaped Inmate from Work Release

Linn County authorities are asking for help from the public in locating an inmate who did not return to the sheriff's office after being let out to look for work.

42 year old Robert Baer was released Monday morning at about 9am for a court ordered job search program. Baer was supposed to come back to the Linn County Correctional Center later in the day on Monday, but failed to return.

Baer had been serving a 90 day jail sentence for 2 counts of Contempt of Court, and False Use of Credit Cards.

Baer is described as a white male, 5'9", and 153 lbs.
