List Of 2015 Fireworks Displays In Northeast Iowa
Several area cities are celebrating America's 239th birthday with fireworks displays and other activities this weekend. Here is the list of 2015 community events, including information links.
Allamakee County:
HARPERS FERRY - Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Dusk
Details: The day begins with a Firecracker 5K Run/Walk and ends with the American Legion fireworks display.
Black Hawk County:
WATERLOO – Friday, July 3, 2015 at approximately 10 p.m.
Site: Riverfront Stadium – 850 Park Road
Details: Fireworks follow Waterloo Bucks vs. Battle Creek Bombers 7:05 p.m. baseball game.

WATERLOO – Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 10 p.m.
Site: National Cattle Congress Fairgrounds – 257 Ansborough Ave.
Details: The Cedar Valley Jaycees Fireworks Festival will provide plenty of family, friendly pre-fireworks excitement, including live music featuring The Chocolate Crackers (4-8 p.m.) and The Wicked Andersons (8 p.m.-Midnight). Admission is free.

Bremer County:
Fredericka - Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Dusk
Site: East Side of Town
Details: Fireworks are part of "Fredericka Days", which runs July 2-5, 2015. The four-day festival also includes a lighted boat parade on the Wapsipinicon River, garage sales, street dance and softball tournament.

Buchanan County:
INDEPENDENCE – Saturday, July 4, 2015 from 10 - 10:30 p.m.
Site: Near Downtown, Over The Wapsipinicon River
Details: The "Celebrate Our Independence" Festival runs July 3-5, 2015, and also features a variety of family activities at many different sites, including live entertainment, parade, volleyball tournament, horseshoe tournament, and auto racing.

Butler County:
GREENE - Friday, July 3, 2015 at Dusk
Details: Admission is free.
SHELL ROCK - Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 10 p.m.
Site: Behind Shell Rock Elementary School - 214 N. Cherry St.
Details: The city-wide celebration also features carnival rides, a 5K run, a 4th of July parade, kiddie parade, live music, firefighter waterball battles, and garage sales at a variety of sites.

Clayton County:
GARNAVILLO - Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Dusk
Site: Garnavillo City Park - U.S. Highway 52 (N. Main Street)
Details: The celebration has several other events, including an ice cream social and teddy bear parade on Friday, July 3, 2015 and a 5K walk/run, live music, parade, pageant, food, games and contests on Saturday, July 4 before the fireworks.

GUTTENBERG - Friday, July 3, 2015 at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Site: Guttenberg Riverfront, Over The Mississippi River
Details: The "Stars & Stripes Celebration" also includes food vendors, a beverage garden, kids' games and inflatables, face painting, music, and a parade. Prizes to be awarded. This year's theme is "Rockin' on the River."

MARQUETTE - Friday, July 3, 2015 at Dusk
Site: Marquette Riverfront, Over The Mississippi River
Details: Celebrate the 4th of July alongside the Mississippi River in a classic, small-town celebration full of pride and joy. A Barber Shop Quartet serenades the public before the fireworks Friday night. Events on Saturday, July 4, 2015, include a 2 p.m. parade, followed by music and a flea market. There will also by bouncy houses for the kids.

EARLVILLE - Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Dusk
Site: Little League Diamond - Prospect St. & W. South Side Road.
Details: July 4th activities will be held all day, starting with a 5K fun run at 9 a.m. Other events include a beanbag tournament, parade, games, inflatables and food.

WEST UNION - Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Dusk
Site: West Union Recreation Center - North Pine St.
Details: Celebrate the 4th of July with a variety of activities beginning at 4 p.m., including the Bruce Bearinger Band, a bouncy house, "Extreme Jungle Gym" inflatable, Miss West Union crowning at 7:00 pm, games, food vendors, and more.

CHARLES CITY – July 4, 2015 at 10 p.m.
Site: Floyd County Courthouse Parking Lot - 101 S. Main St.
Details: The 4th of July Celebration runs July 3-5, 2015, and also features a variety of activities for both children and adults at many different sites. Among the planned events are a parade; music and entertainment; golf, tennis and volleyball tournaments; a 5K run, kids parade; a rubber duck river race; and talent show contest.

REINBECK - July 4, 2015 at 10 p.m.
Site: Elmwood Park - Iowa Highway 175 & South Hawkeye Road (V. Ave.), West End of Town
Details: The city's 4th of July festival runs July 3-5, 2015, and includes a variety of events at different locations, including a fireman's dance on Friday night, a grand parade on Saturday and a four-man best-shot golf tournament on Sunday morning.

SPILLVILLE - Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 9:30 p.m.
Site: Riverside Park and Inwood Ballroom - 116 Bridge St. (Iowa Highway 325)
Details: Organizers promote this fireworks display as the largest in Northeast Iowa. Several other events are planned for the day, including music and games. Admission to the park is $3 per person, $5 per vehicle.
