Krystal Keith is reaching out and thanking fans for their support as she resumes work after a devastating car accident caused by a drunk driver.

"Thank you all so much for all the prayers and support. Getting back to work today! XO ~ KK and Family," the singer, whose father is Toby Keith, posted to Instagram on Tuesday (July 18) to accompany a sweet photo of herself with her daughter resting safely beside her.

Keith and her entire family were involved in a terrifying accident on July 4 while headed out to see some fireworks.

“Our 4th turned pretty horrific,” she shared a few days later. “Hensley, Drew and I were on the way to watch fireworks on the 4th. A drunk driver almost took the lives of my entire family. We all survived the wreck but it’s gonna take some time to heal.”

“Keep us in your prayers. Hug your babies and spouses tight,” she added before finishing with a pointed message. “DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE.”

The 31-year-old country singer released her debut album, Whiskey & Lace, in 2013 through Toby Keith’s Show Dog-Universal label. She and her husband, Andrew Sandubrae, welcomed their daughter Hensley Jack Sandubrae in October of 2015.

Fourth of July weekend was particularly hard for country singers on the roadways. Rising Texas country singer Cameran Nelson and his band were involved in a fatal bus accident on July 3 while on the way to a show in Del Rio, Texas, when a car crossed the center lane and forced their bus off the road. The driver of the other car was killed in the accident, and investigators found weapons, ammunition, what appeared to be stolen credit cards, drug paraphernalia and a flask of Crown on the ground next to the car.
