When most country tours near their end, the pranks are unveiled and Keith Urban was fooled big time on Friday evening (Nov. 18) during his second to last U.S. Ripcord tour stop in Connecticut.

"Please welcome back to the stage this year's CMA Best New Artist, Maren Morris," Urban says in the video above, taken during his show on Friday (Nov. 18).

Except it wasn't. It was Morris' drummer, Christian Paschall, dressed as her -- complete in tight fitting leather shorts, a crop top with his midriff showing and a fur coat and boots. Urban couldn't contain his laughter as he knelt on the stage floor in disbelief. Meanwhile, Morris' drummer lip synched along to Urban's hit with Miranda Lambert "We Were Us" as Morris sang from backstage.

Once the chorus came around Morris made her way to the stage dressed in similar attire as her drummer continued to dance around Urban's guitar player much to the audience's delight. Watch the hilarious video above for all the fun.

Urban wrapped his U.S. leg of the Ripcord Tour the following night in Brooklyn, N.Y. The previous week he performed in Nashville, Tenn. also bringing out Morris for "We Were Us" as well as opener Brett Eldredge for an energetic performance of "Somebody Like You."

The highlight of his nearly two-hour show in Music City, though, was surprise special guest Eric Church who graced the stage during Urban's encore singing his own “Record Year” before helping Urban out with their previous duet “Raise ‘Em Up,” from Urban’s Fuse album.
