Jesup Couple Arrested for Harpers Ferry Burglaries

A couple from Jesup have been arrested for allegedly breaking into homes in Harpers Ferry.

The Allamakee County Sheriff was notified at about 2:30am Saturday, of a burglary in progress at a residence on Park Drive in Harpers Ferry.

Officers were able to get a description of the suspect's vehicle, and pulled it over later on Highway 18 in rural Clayton County.

29 year old Shane Christopher and 20 year old Taylor Frickson, both of Jesup, were stopped by Clayton County deputies; they were then arrested by Allamakee County authorities on 2 counts of 3rd degree burglary, 1 count of third degree burglary involving an unoccupied vehicle, 1 count of second degree theft, possession of burglary tools, and possession of drup paraphernalia.

Both were being held in the Allamakee County jail in Waukon.
