Iowa Wolves To Host Local Tryouts

Do you think you have what it takes to play in the NBA G League?

Earlier this year, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced that had purchased the Iowa Energy, an NBA developmental team that played in Des Moines. The Timberwolves are one of 26 teams that own or operate an NBA Development League affiliate.

Bringing with this season, the team will now be known as the Iowa Wolves, and the Wolves will host an open tryout.

The tryout will be Saturday, September 9th at Kingdom Hoops Basketball in Des Moines.  The tryout starts at 10:00 AM, and it runs until 1:00 PM. Local players will have the chance to showcase their talent to the Iowa Wolves.
