On Tuesday, February 19, 2014, The No. 17 Iowa State Cyclones (20-5, 8-5) welcomed the No. 19 Texas Longhorns (20-6, 9-4) to Ames, Iowa. Melvin Ejim scored 25 points to help push the Cyclones to the 85-76 win.

Ejim has scored in double figures in 21 of 22 games this season, and he was one of three Cyclones with 20 points.  DeAndre Kane scored 22 points , and Niang added 20.

It was Iowa State's seventh win on the season versus a ranked opponent (Michigan, Iowa, Baylor, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas).  That tied a school record set by the 1999-2000 team for the most wins over a rated team in a single season.

Next Up: Iowa State will be on the road this Saturday when they play TCU.
