The Iowa Hawkeyes men's basketball team breezed by Davidson (83-52)  in the first round of the 2015 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament on March 20, 2015. The margin of victory set a record.

Iowa’s 31-point win is the largest margin of victory in the NCAA Tournament. The previous was 29 (82-53) vs. Penn State in the 1955 Sweet 16.

Aaron White scored a game-high 26 points. 20 points came during Iowa's dominating second half. White has scored 20+ points in six straight games. The last Iowa player to score 20+ points in six straight games was Greg Stokes in 1984-85 (eight straight).

Junior Mike Gesell finished with 15 points and six assists, and sophomore Peter Jok added 12 points.

NEXT UP: Iowa (22-11) will face the winner of No. 2 seed Gonzaga and No. 15 seed North Dakota State at 6:10 PM-CT Sunday (March 23) for a right to advance to the Sweet 16. The game will be televised on TNT.
