University of Iowa wrestler Cory Clark (Soph.) scored a 7-5 win over Penn State's Jimmy Gulibon on Friday (May 20, 2015) night to advance to the 133-pound finals of the NCAA Wrestling Championships.

Clark advanced to the finals for the national tournament for the first time in his career, and he was one of six Hawkeye wrestlers to advance to the medal round of the national tournament. Thomas Gilman (125), Brandon Sorensen (149), Mike Evans (174), Nathan Burak (197), and Bobby Telford (285) have all wrestled to All-America honors.

Iowa sits in second place with 73 team points, trailing Ohio State by 13.5. Cornell (66.5), Edinboro (64.5), and Missouri round out the top five.

The medal round begins Saturday at 10 a.m. (CT).The Saturday morning session is televised on ESPNU and streamed online at ESPN3.

The Championship finals will air live on ESPN at 7 p.m. ESPN3 will stream both the morning and evening sessions.
