Investigation of Man’s Death in Sumner

The Bremer County Sheriff is investigating the weekend death of a Sumner resident.

Authorities were called out at about 3:00 PM Sunday (Feb 21, 2016) on the report of a person who was dead, at a home in Sumner.

The person has been identified as 46 year old Steven Miller of Sumner.

According to the Bremer County Sheriff, there is no suspicion of foul play, at this time.

The State Medical Examiner is doing an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

The Bremer County Sheriff was assisted by the County Medical Examiner, and Sumner Emergency Medical Services.
