Slick roads are sited as a factor in a pair of recent one-vehicle accidents in Buchanan County.

The first one happened at about 4pm Friday, just north of Independence on Highway 150.

An SUV driven by Amber Ciesielski of Hazleton was northbound when it went out of control on the ice-covered road.

The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled, coming to rest on it's wheels in a field.
