Hooters Calendar Girls Make A Four Day Swing Through The Cedar Valley For Charity
Join the Hooters Calendar Girls for Give a Hoot for Self-Help Weekend, July 27th – 30th. "Give a Hoot" will be weekend of Hooters style fun and support for a great cause in memory of the late Dave “Lags” Lageschulte, Hooters franchise owner, Waverly native, and long-time supporter of Self-Help International.
Seven South Florida Hooters Girls including Miss Hooters International Sable Robbert will travel to Waverly, Iowa to participate in the events in memory of Lageschulte. They will be joining Iowa Hooters Girls Rachel Cillick, Kaitlin Johnson, Rachel Schabilion and Amanda Valenzuela.
Self-Help International is a nonprofit organization based in Waverly with a mission is to alleviate hunger by helping people help themselves.

July 27th - The Hooters girls will be at the Bremer County Fair. Come on out and get your very own Hooters Calendar personally autographed by the lovely ladies! Get a free beer with the purchase of the collectible Hooter sup, enter the raffle to win and autographed Kenny Chesney guitar, and more!
July 28th - Hooters is all about endless summer, so jump on the VIP bus to join their Beach Party Bar Crawl" with the Hooters Calendar Girls. The bus leaves from WAverly with stops at the Janesville Tap and Wild Hare in Cedar Falls. Drink specials, beer on board,a nd plenty of Hooterific fun!
July 29th - The Lags Memorial Golf Tournament is a 4 person best shot format and will be held Friday, July 29, 2016 at Prairie Links Golf Course in Waverly. The day begins at 9:00 AM with registration, raffle prizes and games, followed by a shotgun start at 11:00 AM. The post-golf party is open to the public and will take place at Joe’s Knight Hawk, where the tournament results will be announced, awards will be given, and the calendar girls will host a calendar signing.

The first ever LAGSRIDE poker ride will take place Saturday, July 30, 2016, featuring a 21 mile out-and back route between Waverly to Denver on the Waverly Rail Trail.
This poker ride starts at 10 AM and finishes at the Dirty Dog located at 1016 W Bremer Ave, Waverly. Pre-register online for $20 at giveahootforselfhelp.wordpress.com. Day of the event registration is $25.
Jump on your bike and visit all five checkpoints, drawing a playing card at each one. The best poker hand at the end of the ride wins! There will be many door prizes and a GRAND PRIZE, a brand new, custom fit Trek bicycle from Europa Cycle and Ski!
