Hoopla Cheer and Ugly Sweaters In Cedar Falls
The Hoopla Cheer and Ugly Sweater Contest in the Downtown District of Cedar Falls was last night, December 14th, and I have to say I definitely saw some of the ugliest sweaters I have ever seen. So good job to all of you who worked really hard to find some ugly Christmas sweaters! It is not an easy job but somebody had to do it.
It was a great way to get into the holiday spirit as I saw a plethora of ugly Christmas sweaters and some people even took it to the next level by doing Christmas hairdos! I saw some light up tree hairdos, some Whoville stuff happening and one person even put on big ornament in their hair. If this was not festive enough, the Christmas tractor, as I like to call it, was all decorated with lights and giving rides to children and couples down Main Street. I did not get a chance to get on the ride but I plan to do it next Thursday at the final Christmas event!
Ugly sweaters, Christmas carols, lighted tractor rides, and good friends. What better way to get into the holiday spirit?!
