This Veterans Day, we wanted to take this opportunity to say "Thank you" to all of the veterans that have served or are currently serving this great nation.

To say "thank you" seems so small compared to what our military and their families go through or have gone through. You can help right now by joining us in supporting Townsquare Cares for Military Families (Link). Plus you can also show your support at a scheduled Veterans Day event on November 11, 2015 (list below).

In our eyes, there is nothing more honorable than someone willing to put their life on the line to protect not only our country, but those who are blessed enough to live within it. It's our greatest wish that the sacrifice of those willing to defend our freedoms is never taken for granted.

Kent Larson, the Iowa State Director of the Armed Forces Benefit Association and founder and commands of the Iowa Fallen Heroes Honor Guard, recently posted a video on line of flag presentation to one of our local vets. In the video, Mr. Larson gives us some suggestions of how we can honor our vets with more than just a simple "Thank you".
