Here’s A Look At The Final Season Of Popular TV Show ‘Downton Abbey’

Much to the dismay of many fans, the PBS show Downton Abbey will air it's final season in January. The British period drama TV series is set in the fictional Yorkshire country estate of Downton Abbey. The show depicts the lives of the aristocratic Crawley family and their servants.

Each new season is centered on the great events of history during the early 1900's and how it effected the lives of the family and their servants.

The first series began the day after the historic sinking of the Titanic.The second, covered the 1918 flu pandemic. The third season touched on the rebellion in Ireland and the fourth covered events that happened in Germany during the rise of Hitler and the fifth continued up to the World War One era.

Downton Abbey will return for it's 6th and final season in January 3, 2016.
