The Hawkeye Dirt Tour comes to Britt and four more IMCA divisions take their turns on the track at Hancock County Speedway’s Salute To Veterans special on Tuesday, June 30.

All veterans and their spouses receive free admission to the grandstand that evening.

Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds race for $3,300 to win their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race for $1,700 to win, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks both for $1,200 and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $200.

The Modified runner-up earns $1,200, with $1,050 for third and $900 for fourth. Second in the Stock Car main pays $750, with $650 for third and $600 for fourth. SportMod and Hobby Stock runners-up get $600, with $450 for third and $375 for fourth.

Main event winners with perfect attendance this season at Britt get $500 bonuses. Hard charger awards are $300 for the Modifieds and Stock Cars and $200 for the SportMods and Hobby Stocks.

All classes will be draw/redraw. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, Allstar Performance State and local track points, plus special series points for Modifieds, will be awarded. Winners in all divisions receive six-foot tall trophies.

Pit gates open at 5 p.m. The draw closes at 6:30 p.m. and hot laps start at 7 p.m. with racing to follow. Spectator admission is $15 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6-12. Family passes are $40 and pit passes are $30.

Five previous Hawkeye Dirt Tour events held at Hancock County Speedway have produced as many different winners: Jeremy Mills of Garner in 2010, Clayton Christensen of Spencer in 2011, Jon Snyder of Ames in 2012, Kyle Strickler of Mooresville, N.C., in 2013 and Mark Elliott of Webster City last year.
