Go To The Beach This Weekend During “Brandon Days”

"Brandon Days" kicks off this Friday, August 5th and rolls thorough Sunday, August 7th. This year's theme is "Beach Party". Here is a list of the weekend events.

Friday, August 5th - 

5 PM -

• 5K Walk/Run - Registration at the Community Center. 5K starts at 5:30 PM.

7 PM -

• Big Ball Tournament   - (5 men/women teams ages 16 & over). Contact Blake @ (319) 939-4010 for more information.
• Bags Tourney - Contact Jeremy @ (319) 981-0878 for more information.

9 PM - 12 AM -

• Dance - The dance will be held at Phat's Pub & Grub. Music provided by the Bryce Janey Band.

Saturday, August 6th - 

8 AM -

• Breakfast Burrito Booth
• Big Ball Tourney contiunes.
• 9th Annual Tractorcade.

10 AM - 

• Parade "Beach Party"

12 Noon - 

• Acoustic guitarist Danny Whitson performs.
• Horseshoe tournament. Adults only. Signup at park by 11:45 AM.
• Kiddie games at the park.

1 PM - 

• Bags tournament

5 PM - 7 PM - 

• Pork chop dinner

7 PM - 

• Auction & Raffle

9 PM - 1 AM - 

• Dance & Beer Garden at Phat's Pub & Grub with music provided by Mitch (DJ).

Sunday, August 7th - 

12 Noon - 

• Car Show (Registration is at 11:30 AM)

3 PM - 

• 24th Annual Car Cruise on Main Street. (Registration is at 2:30 PM)
