George Strait is a grandfather once again! The country singer revealed the news that his granddaughter was born on Sept. 10, confirming reports that he'd told the crowd about her birth during a show in Las Vegas that day.

The baby girl is the second child born to Strait's son Bubba and his wife Tamara. The couple also have a son, George Harvey Strait III, born in February 2012. They call him Harvey. The new baby's name is Jilliann Louise Strait, according to the country icon's website. The Straits waited over six weeks to share his grandson's name, finally doing so in March 2012.

Strait reportedly first made the announcement of Jilliann's arrival during a show at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sept. 10. It was the second of back-to-back Strait to Vegas shows. He has two more on the books for 2016 before two sold out dates scheduled for 2017. He just released a new single called "Goin' Goin' Gone," the second from his Cold Beer Conversations album.

On Nov. 18, Strait will release Strait Out of the Box: Part 2. It's a box set that features 56 songs, including two new songs. The box set is available exclusively through Walmart. He officially retired from the road in 2014, but began playing T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas earlier this year. These have remained his only concerts.
