Winter is here. Here's what we know about GoT Season 8.

The 8th season of HBO's Game of Thrones will be the last one for the iconic show. For my money, it's the greatest drama of all time. This is the only show I've ever seen where they can kill off a character, and I truly believe that the show will not be able to continue without that character and somehow it does.

HBO has revealed that the 8th and final season of Game of Thrones will premier in April of 2019. The final season will only consist of just six episodes. But from what it sounds like, those six episodes will range between an hour and a half and two hours long.

Game of Thrones is currently number 3 on IMDB's Top Rated TV Shows behind Planet Earth II and Band of Brothers. GoT has racked up 47 Primetime Emmy wins, 5 Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Peabody Award. During season one of the show, the average viewership was 2.5 million. During season seven, that grew to an average of 30 million.

This is the only good time that winter is here in April.
