Florida Georgia Line have reclaimed the record for the longest run at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart with their smash hit collaboration with Bebe Rexha, "Meant to Be." As Billboard explains, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley now once again hold the record, besting Sam Hunt's record set last year.

"Meant to Be" has now topped the Hot Country Songs chart for 35 weeks. In 2017, Hunt's "Body Like a Back Road" spent 34 weeks at No. 1 on that chart. Before that, FGL held the chart's record for the longest run at No. 1 thanks to their song "Cruise," which spent 24 weeks at the top in 2012 and 2013.

Hubbard, who co-wrote "Meant to Be" with Rexha, Josh Miller and David Garcia, tells Billboard, "I'm so honored to be a writer and an artist on this song. I'm thankful to just be one of the many people who put so much energy and effort into making music history."

Adds Kelley, "The power of music continues to blow our minds, and we are extremely humbled and thankful that "Meant to Be" has spent the better part of a year at the top. The connection we feel with our fans through our music is extra special with this song. Bebe and her camp were a blast to work with."

Florida Georgia Line recently broke another chart record with "Meant to Be": Thanks to the song's run at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, they now hold the record for the most cumulative weeks at the top of the chart. The combination of their No. 1 songs “Cruise,” “Stay,” “This Is How We Roll,” “Dirt,” “H.O.L.Y.” and “Meant to Be” has earned them 90 weeks in the top spot on the chart. The record was previously set by George Strait in 1984.
