Flooded Areas Causing More Waterloo Road Closures

The City of Waterloo has several areas experiencing moderate flooding causing traffic interruptions and temporary road closures. Motorists are encouraged to use extreme caution when approaching any water standing on roadways.

Streets currently CLOSED to through traffic are:

- - Ridgeway Avenue (Deere Road to Greyhound Drive)

- - Katoski Drive (Huntington to Black Hawk Road)

- - Ranchero Road

- - Fletcher Avenue (Both Gates Closed)

- - Black Hawk Road (Huntington to Katoski Drive)

These routes are CLOSED due to high water. USE ALTERNATE ROUTES. Please be aware that this situation could change rapidly, especially in those areas prone to flooding. These thoroughfares will continue to be monitored and will re-open when safe travel can again be guaranteed.
