Waterloo Police have arrested the 3rd and final person wanted in the March 1st assault case in Cedar Falls.

Waterloo Police arrested Alonzo Jamal Henderson Jr., age 23, of 1731 Mitchell Avenue in Waterloo, on Sunday on a warrant charging him with Willful Injury in reference to a March 1st serious assault which occurred in Cedar Falls. On March 1st, an officer on patrol discovered 47 year old Brett Weichers being beaten by two males in the 500 block of Main Street at 2:28 AM. Weichers suffered severe injuries and was treated at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Weichers lost one of his eyes as a result of this vicious attack. The investigation into the assault revealed that Brady Morgan and Alonzo Henderson Jr. had assaulted Weichers. They were identified after video surveillance photos were obtained and released thru Crime Stoppers. A third person, Terisa Shea Rowan, age 21, of 2215 Falls Avenue in Waterloo was also arrested for Perjury related to this investigation. Investigators allege that Rowan lied while under oath during a sworn statement about her knowledge of and communications related to this assault.

Willful Injury resulting in a serious injury is a Class “C” Felony.
Perjury is a class “D” Felony.
