We've done our favorite Christmas movies. Now it's music's turn. Hey, it's KCRR's Shawn McKenna...

After a fun Christmas movie top 10 list, I am accepting Neuman's challenge to come up with my top 5 favorite Christmas songs. My list certainly varies greatly from Neuman's Top 5.

5. Here Comes Santa Claus - Gene Autry - This song reminds me of my childhood, we used to play the entire vinyl album constantly! Lots of fun traditional songs! It's also featured in the movie, "Christmas Vacation" (when the police/SWAT team raids the Griswold's home, funny stuff)

4. Santa Bring My Baby Back To Me - Elvis Presley - it's "the King" everybody...acting really, really silly on this one, love it! Thank you, thank you very much...

3. Christmas All Over Again - Tom Petty - Just a fun song, from one of my favorite classic rockers! Here's a live version...

2. The Christmas Song - Hootie & the Blowfish - I like Darius Rucker's voice, but of course, I have to "give a nod" to the original from Nat "King" Cole...

1. Merry Christmas Baby - Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band - this is a great jam....love the saxophone!

Honorable mention - Bruce Springsteen's version of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" - featuring Clarence Clemons on sax.

So, there you go there's my top 5, now the challenge moves on to Q-92.3's Slater, K-98.5's Johnny & Tiffany and AM-950 KOEL's Liz Brown.

Merry Christmas all y'all!
