The public is invited to an Open House at the Hartman Reserve Interpretive Building on Sunday, December 14 & Monday, December 15, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM each day. This is an opportunity to visit with Black Hawk County Conservation Board staff and Friends of Hartman Reserve board members and to get acquainted with the Hartman East Wing Remodel Project.
Attendees will be able to tour the east wing, see architectural floor plans, and discuss project initiatives. Light refreshments will be served.
Hartman Reserve Nature Center is on the border between Cedar Falls and Waterloo at 657 Reserve Drive. It has been the Cedar Valley’s center for environmental education for nearly 40 years. For more information call the Interpretive Center at 319-277-2187 or click here to check out their website.
