Waterloo School District alum Ben Bamsey will deliver the keynote speech for the Waterloo Schools Foundation's Academic Excellence Breakfast.

Bamsey graduated from West High in 1994, served as a news producer and sports reporter for KWWL and is now a segment and investigative producer for CNN-owned, HLN programs "Raising America with Kyra Phillips" and "News Now".

The breakfast will celebrate the success of Waterloo students and award teaching grants to some well deserving Cedar Valley teachers!

The Academic Excellence Breakfast will be held at the Five Sullivan Brother Convention Center Thursday, April 24, 2014. Doors will open at 7 PM The program will begin at 7:30 PM.
