A benefit for John Eckhart will be held Saturday, August 29th in Grundy Center. "Big John" Eckharts was diagnosed with A-M-L (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) and all proceeds raised will go towards his medical expenses.
A golf tournament and bean bag tournament will be held starting at 10 AM at the Town and Country Golf Course. Food will be served starting at 6 PM.
A live and silent auction will be held that night with great prizes including vacation packages, water park tickets, Iowa Hawkeye football tickets, a grill set and much more!
Contributions can also be sent to "Big John's Benefit" at Greenbelt Bank and Trust in Grundy Center.
