2nd Annual “Food for Kids” Night To Be Held In Cedar Falls

When children are at school it's easy to see if they are eating or not. But surprisingly, some Cedar Valley kids don't have access to very much food at home on the weekends.
That's why Feeding America developed the Backpack Program, where kids get backpacks filled with meals and snacks to take home and help them get through the weekend.
Last year, the 'Friends of the Food Bank' raised $8,000, supporting 4,800 weekend meals for kids in the Cedar Valley for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. This year, you're invited to the 2nd Annual "Food for Kids" night to help the group raise double the amount.
Grab your family and friends and come to Saint Patrick Church at 705 Main Street in Cedar Falls, November 21st from 5:30 PM till 9:00 PM. There will be food and fun activities from multiple ethnic groups including Indian, Filipino, Thai and more.
