The racing action on Friday, July 24, 2015 at the Farley Speedway provided the fans with another exciting night of wheel to wheel excitement.

The Klein Custom Homes IMCA Late Model feature saw Cosgrove, Iowa driver Andy Eckrich battle from the back of the pack following a first lap skirmish to chase down race leader Joel Callahan and set up a last lap charge to the finish. Eckrich caught Callahan in lapped traffic and made a dive to the low side in turn four coming to the checkers; Eckrich crossed the finish line less than a car length ahead of Callahan. John Merfeld finished third ahead of his brother Luke on Friday night.

The 20 lap Precision Transmission IMCA Modified 20 lap feature belonged to Jeremiah Hurst. The 20 lap main went flag to flag with Hurst taking charge from his front row start and scoring an impressive win. Mark Schulte battled through traffic from a fifth row start to take second ahead of JD Auringer.

Troy Bauer took another win in the GSI Collision Specialists IMCA Sportmod main. Bauer took the lead from early leader Bobby Taggert as the race neared the halfway point. Bauer went on to take the win ahead of Justin Becker and Tyler Soppe.

Chris Luloff scored a hard fought win in the IMCA Stock Car class on Friday night. Luloff emerged from the lead pack with 6 laps scored in the 15 lap main and went on to score the win over early race leader Tim Helle.

Leah Wroten took the win in the Hobby Stock feature. Wroten held off the constant challenges of Quinton Miller in scoring the win.

The Farley Speedway will not be racing on Friday, July 31st as the Dubuque County Fair will be in full swing. The next event at the Farley Speedway will be Monday, August 3rd as the Midwest Late Model Racing Association will be in town bringing top open Late Model drivers to the 3/8 mile dirt.
