A Manchester man faces charges after he crashed his van into a church.

The incident happened at about 2am Saturday (March 5th); a Manchester Police officer said he heard a loud crash, with glass breaking, on West Fayette Street in Manchester.

The van, driven by 42 year old Robert Stallings, left the road, went across a lawn, then crashed into the entrance of St. Mary's Church. The investigating officer found Stalling backing his van away from the church entrance.

No one was injured. There was no estimate of damages to the church.

Stallings was arrested for OWI-2nd offense and driving with a suspended license.
