Donated Items Needed For Flood Victims In Cedar Falls

Donations are needed for flood victims in Cedar Falls.

According to city officials, a donation site set up to help residents impacted by the recent flooding in the North Cedar area is running short of several items that victims are in need of.

City officials are asking people to donate the following items:

• Batteries
• Bread
• Dawn dish soap
• Dog food
• Fans
• Flashlights
• Gallon water
• Jelly
• Laundry detergent
• Masks
• Powdered milk (different sizes)
• Razors
• Shaving Cream
• Shovels
• Toilet paper
• Trash bags
• Zip lock bags

The items can be dropped off at the donation site -- the Living Water Church of the Nazarene at 1210 W. Lone Tree Road -- in North Cedar Falls.

According to city officials, CLOTHING DONATIONS ARE NOT NEEDED.
