Disney announces the new name for their upcoming streaming service.

With all the viable options for web streaming, there has been a noticeable absensts when it comes to Disney movies and TV shows on streaming services. That's because Disney has announced that they will have their own streaming service that is to debut at the end of 2019.

It will be called Disney+. It will feature all Disney owned content including Pixar and Lucasfilms content.

Parks Associates did research and came out with the top streaming services in the US.

The top 5 are:

  1. Netflix
  2. Prime Video Users (Amazon Prime)
  3. Hulu
  4. HBO Now
  5. Starz

The Parks Associates Senior Director of Research Brett Sappingon said, "According to our estimates, Amazon has more Prime Members than Netflix has subscribers. However, when you consider only those Prime Members that use Prime Video, Netflix is the largest. Hulu remains third largest but continues to grow its subscriber base."

You have to imaging that Disney+ will soon be in this top 10 list, if not the top 5.
