The Kansas City Royals rallied from a three-run deficit to secure the win in Game 2 of their ALDS Friday (Oct. 9) at Kauffman Stadium. The best-of-fiveseries against the Houston Astros is now tied at 1-1.

KC's Ben Zobrist singled in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning, and the Royals' bullpen throw three scoreless innings in an exciting 5-4 win over Houston.

Game 3 will take place on Sunday (Oct. 11) with coverage beginning on MLB Network at 3:10 PM-CT.

GAME 2 TIDBITS:

- Kansas City was the first home team to win this postseason, as the road teams have won the first five games.

- Houston's left fielder Colby Rasmus hit an RBI double and a home run. Rasmus' double made him the first player to have an extra-base hit in each of his first six postseason games.

- Rasmus homered in his third consecutive playoff game.

Dallas Keuchel will get the start for Houston win the two clubs travel to Minute Maid Park on Sunday (Oct. 11). He is 15-0 with a 1.46 ERA in 18 starts at his home park. Edinson Volquez will take the to the hill for the Royals. It will be his third postseason start. Edinson has a 12.15 postseason ERA.
