Rain is the winner tonight on September 18, 2015 at Farley Speedway.

Friday evening’s Yankee Dirt Track Classic program, which was to have been headlined by the IMCA Deery Brothers Summer Series, has been canceled due to rain and wet track conditions.

The complete Saturday program is still on as scheduled along with the addition of IMCA Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod qualifying. Hot laps are at 4:30 p.m. with racing to follow.

Touring IMCA Late Models will chase checks of $7,500 to win and a minimum of $500 to start their 100-lap series finale tomorrow night while the IMCA Hawkeye Dirt Tour feature for Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds pays $2,000 to win and a minimum of $175 to start.

Justin Kay of Wheatland clinches a second consecutive Deery Series crown with tonight’s rainout. Just four points separate Kyle Brown of State Center and defending champion Mike Van Genderen in the race for the 2015 Hawkeye Dirt Tour title.
