The IMCA Deery Brothers Summer Series headline the opening night at the Farley Speedway. On Friday, April 15, the three-eighths mile oval opens its 17th season under Simmons Promotions, INC.

SPI owner Keith Simmons has set the 2016 Farley Speedway schedule with a variety of racing events.

The season opener will feature the traveling IMCA Late Model tour which routinely draws car counts that will reach near 40 cars. In addition to the Late Models the IMCA Modifieds will also be in action on Friday night.

On Friday, April 22, the IMCA Weekly Racing Series season opener features all five weekly classes in action, Out Pace Late Models, Modifieds, Stock Cars, GSI Collision Specialists Sportmods and Hobby Stocks plus the 2 man Cruisers will race on opening night.

Open Late Models will return to the Farley Speedway for a a pair of $10,000 to win racing events in 2016. On June 22, the UMP Summernationals returns with the traveling Late Model Superstars in action. Then on August 8, it is the first of back to back nights with SPI hosting the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association high powered Late Models. The MLRA will travel to SPI's West Liberty Raceway on August 9th.

The Modifieds will take center stage as the Farley Speedway will host the 4th annual Aftermarket Nationals which draws the top Modified drivers in the country for a $10,000 first place prize. The Aftermarket Nationals will be held Thursday and Friday, June 30th and July 1st.

The Out Pace IMCA Late Models will also be the featured division for 2 Tri-Track specials which will be held May 20th and July 15th.

The second annual Driver appreciation night will be held on Friday, July 8th. A full program of racing will be presented with FREE grandstand admission.

Two 200 lap enduros will be held a the Farley Speedway in 2016 both will offer a $10K first place prize based on 120 entries. May 15th and November 6th will be the Enduro race dates.

The 39th Annual “Yankee Dirt Track Classic “ will highlight the 2016 season with four big days of racing. The “Yankee” has been moved up this year to allow our dedicated fans more opportunities with their racing choices. The first night will be Wednesday, August 31st and will run through through Saturday, September 3rd with the 100 lap Deery Brothers Summer Series IMCA Late Model main event highlighting the 4 day event.

The Farley Speedway is located on the west edge of Farley, Iowa just south of US Highway 20 on Olde Farley Road. The Track offers on site camping with electrical hookups and showers.
