Six players scored in double-figures, leading the Cedar Valley CourtKings to a dominating 111-72 victory over the Lincoln Lions in Waterloo Saturday night (June 4, 2016).

Former UNI guard Marvin Singleton recorded his first double-double playing for Cedar Valley (3-3), topping all scorers with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Andre Norris added 17 points, Wakefield Ellison scored 15, Lamar Wall tallied 13, while Aundre’ Hicks and LaDon Singleton each chipped in 10.

Playing Lincoln was a late schedule change for the CourtKings. The Illinois-based Lions entered the Midwest Basketball League (MBL) as a full-time member officially this week as a replacement for the struggling Chicago Clovers in the West Division. Lincoln was a branding team, which won two exhibition games against teams in the MBL's East Division.
