The Waterloo Black Hawks score two goals in the third period to stage a thrilling USHL buzzer-beater win Thursday (Mar. 18, 2016) against the Muskegon Lumberjacks.

Trailing 5-4 to start the third period, the Waterloo Black Hawks scored their first goal in the frame thanks to Zach Yon. It was left wing forward's second goal on the night when he put the puck across the line at 7:13 in the third period.

The score would remain tied at 5-5 until Nick Swaney was able to put the puck into the back of the net one second left on the clock. That secured the Black Hawks 6-5 road win.

Swaney lead the team in scoring tallying three points (two goals, one assist). Yon added two points (two goals). Jake Ryczek scored one goal and one assist. Yuri Terao had one goal on the final score sheet.
