2018 Class 3A Iowa High School Girls Basketball State Tournament

Here are the 2018 Iowa High School Girls State Basketball Tournament Class 3A pairings and results.

Class 3A quarterfinal games will be played on Tuesday, Feb. 27. The winners advance to the state semifinals on Thursday, March 1. The 3A championship game is scheduled for Saturday, March 3 at 3:00 PM.

Teams that qualified for the 2018 state tournament are Clear Lake, Crestwood, Davenport Assumption, Monticello, North Polk, Red Oak, Sioux Center and South Tama.

A new 3A champion will be crowned this year. Two-time defending titlist Pocahontas Area, which finished second in 2015, is not part of the eight-team field. Sioux Center played for the 2017 championship and is one of four returning qualifiers, along with Crestwood, Clear Lake and Davenport Assumption. Top-ranked Crestwood is the No. 1 seed and is the only remaining undefeated team in 3A.
