The 2015 Missouri Valley Conference Volleyball Championship field is set.


Wichita State (15-3 MVC) earned the MVC regular-season championship, locking up the No. 1 seed for next week's championship for the sixth time in team history. The Shockers enter the championship having won 13 of their last 15 matches.

Southern Illinois (14-4 MVC) will be the No. 2 seed, while Missouri State (13-3 MVC) will be the No. 3 seed. Northern Iowa (12-6 MVC) will be the No. 4 seed, earning the power points tiebreaker over No. 5 Illinois State (12-6 MVC), while Loyola (9-9 MVC) will be the No. 6 seed as the Ramblers earned their first-ever berth into the MVC Volleyball Championship.

The Missouri Valley Conference Volleyball Championship will get underway when No. 4 UNI takes on No. 5 Illinois State in the tournament opener on Thursday, Nov. 26, at 5:00 p.m., followed by host and No. 3 Missouri State vs. No. 6 Loyola at 7:30 p.m. The game one winner between UNI/ILS will take on No. 1 Wichita Stateon Friday evening at 5:00 p.m. in the first semifinal, while the MSU/LUC winner will face No. 2 Southern Illinois in the second semifinal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Semifinal winners will face off for the Missouri Valley Conference automatic berth into the NCAA Volleyball Championship on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 4:00 p.m.

All five matches of the 2015 MVC Volleyball Championship, including two quarterfinals on Thursday, two semifinals on Friday and the championship match on Saturday, will be available for fans to follow via live streaming on The Valley on ESPN3 ( Greg Halbleib (play-by-play) and Linda Dollar (analyst) will call the matches live from Hammons Student Center.
